Press Menu and select "Back"<from the menu that comes up not the phones back button
Press Menu and select "Key Input" enter value Q <- capital Q not lowercase q
Press Menu and select "Key Input" enter value 0000 <- 4 zeros
Wait 10-15 seconds for it to return you to its main screen.
You won't know you entered these steps correctly for 10 or so seconds but it will then take you to ServiceMenus main screen from here select

It will say "success"
Reboot via the phones power menu and voice and sms should be working. You may have to go into settings>network settings>Network Operators>and select either manual or automatic, either is fine.
