| Ok, Put the software on my Windows 7 Laptop and OTU Updater all runs well. Used version 5 which is for Idol4, but it has 6034 as a phone option so worked on my Idol S.
Updated new 6034R and it went well, took 30 minutes and was done.
Unfortunately the non-working phone only got about 1/4 of the way through the update with it crashing out and giving the message to remove battery and retry. Could not get past this error message.
Am I out of options to repair faulty phone ?
