| I have not tried yet on using older version and about the USB, Im using at least 1.8m USB cable and tried using it with SP Flash tool and the writing is successful but not in CM2 so in my conclusion there is nothing problem with the length of cable I used, or maybe I will try your tip in the next problem I will encounter. since the issue for this certain mobile phone is already solved by other flashing tool. I want to get some information from the developer team or any expert in mobile servicing like you. so that my skill proficiency on mobile servicing to too will be increase.
