what a good day, I have a htc u11 and I'm using the xtc with the power adapter, but when trying to change the cid or mid or do it s-off the following errors:

I have the phone with Oreo android with the firmware 2.31.709.1, connected the xtc in the sd of the phone together with the power adapter connected to the pc, I will be doing something wrong or is it the firmware?
