For connect server success issue but not download i did this.
I could update the rsim I had the same problem that stayed in server connected, I did it this way I used windows 10 change to windows 7 install the dongle drivers for windows 7 64bits from the rsim page download the latest version of the updater rsim, then I did all that change the COM number in device manager to number 2 after that the update application I put it in compatibility mode windows xp service pack 3, restart the computer with the dongle disconnected then connect the dongle with the switch that brings the dongle in the back direction of the usb and that's how it worked.
