Need to change imei of s8 950w.running bootloader v3 oreo.
been using the phone for a couple months now .got it 2nd hand.only went bad now and don't want to root it because the degraded battery.Don't want to sell it.

only solution i have come across is gckey pro cert write option.Guessing i flash the 950u bl v3 combination file on device and wipe efs first to make imei null ?get new cert then use gcpro key write cert option?

Where can i get a new cert with new imei?

or should i just downgrade and root to mask the imei with another imei i have from a broken phone?

is there any other way?

Willing to pay reasonably for fix.
