so your computer driver/usb port is your problem.. try on other pc
if your driver/usb port good you can try,just try insert cable, and you
will know 
mtk based phone will recognise as
mtk usb port without emmc/emcp
qc based phone will be
9008/9006 without emmc/emcp
something like that, let me know the result dont forget to check vcc and vccq voltage, if all ok do testpoint to force edl mode, still not work? try replace/check dat0 resistor,last hardway solution try jumper cmd resistor to ground.
some clue, if phone only vibrate or on/off led and recognize by pc as dignostic port (like 900E etc) change firmware same result... its CPU problem
all you need is try not ask about SURE or NOT, hope it help
