I just did G975U bit2 with this method, it was a pain, but it worked.

After you do the SIM trick just download and install Android 6 Google Account Manager and Root Junkys FRP bypass. Run frp bypass and do browser sign in.

Restart phone and account will be added

After setup, factory data reset

Done
