anyone succeeded in unlock or bypass icloud lock?

there are many sites which say they can unlock... but before trying them i just want to ask-- will it be just a waste of money or they can really unlock?

i have an ipad pro A1709, owner is a friend, purchased by him but forgot the apple id he use
