but i didnt have time to play with erasing it and checking all of this.
I am writing this from experience with other brands,
that are all using signed nvram (imei/sn) on newer MTK models.

After all of this has been said, thats why I contstantly repeat,
from long time ago that "One must be very stupid to fully erase MTK phone without having a backup".
***EDIT: I have just checked ... looks like that device is offered
only as customized (operator) device, and that's why MobileUpgrade refuse to flash it.
Only solution (for not fully erased devices) - Factory tools (remote/paid service).
You can, however, try some of these PID's : (and see if MobileUpgrade will flash it)

Stay with same model pid (IE: if you have T767H-xxxxx, doint use H2 or H3 pid)
small note: Device need to have at least preloader and proinfo flashed inside,
