2017 Suzuki Vitara head unit - Bluetooth mode without steering wheel buttons

Hello, I bought this original head unit from another Vitara, Panasonic model number 39101-54P10. It has bluetooth, but I couldn't find the pairing mode in the menu. I assume it's because my car does not have the three steering wheel buttons that control phone interaction - those buttons should pull up the bluetooth menu. I'm looking for advice on what I could try in terms of hidden button combinations that would bring up the bluetooth menu, or some pin jumping in the connector that could emulate the steering wheel buttons. Transforming one of the other steering wheel buttons would also be an option - mute, source, vol +/-, etc. Any thoughts? Thanks.
