sorry my friend, but please look at the attached schematic of nokia 6230 audio lines...

there is no "crystal ic" (which we call resistor packages...) in the lines. the crystal effect package usually contain 3 or more resistors...

you will see R150/R157/R162/R169/R170 are packages containing two resistor in each, none of these are appear "crystal". you can look on board and see this, they are like normal SMD resistors, but square instead of rectangle...

when you look to the schematic, you will now see that there is no point at all that the earpiece and external earpiece are linked. other than at UEM.
so if you are having problem in both component, then any one with logical thinking can say uem is the problem...

also, after i have seen maybe 20 piece 6230 saying "insert sim", i have came to conclusion that "reflow the crystal ic" does nothing. only replace or bridging those components will help...
