yes thefoxes, you are thinking on PM (PMM) which is permanent memory.

it is not crypted (on a whole) and can read easilly with twister flasher or JAF box. this gives you the text file to open.

the sections, are many things. calibration data, network specific data, user stored data (for example your ringtone selection is stored to the PM. even SP_lock data is stored to the PM.

basically it is the phone eeprom, if you know what that does.

the guy says PM!=ppm because PMM and PPM are two very different thing.

PPM is post programmable memory. it is language data, text string, inbuilt ringtone.

these guy are all working on PPM, not PMM so they are no help to you

best to just read all PM from the phone and look through it with notepad
