You loose main certificate area,
as I losse on my tests, nobody can restore it,
Because it contains all "whales" of BB5 security
Product code and IMEI Nr (this is not a PM area, where is a mirror)
and RSA signature of this
By the way, Nokia knows, phone is locked or not by product code
