Firmware, Cobba and flash IC can make your 2100 "contact service".
To check where the problem came from:
1. Run DCT3RPv3.2
2. Click READ ME icon to get info from the phone, if the COBBA ID is 0000xx, it means you need to replace your COBBA IC
3. If your COBBA ID is not zero.. check the IMEI and ORIGINAL IMEI numbers.. are they same number? If yes, is the number is normal or not? If your phone is CONTACT SERVICE, it's possible you got irregular IMEI number or the numbers are different between IMEI and ORI IMEI.
4. If the condition is like what step 3 says.. Run XP Mobile DCT3 Flasher, or you can also run ROLIS FLASHER.. flash your 2100..
5. After flash process done, run nokia tool by jordik (
www.unlock.sk).. Click "READ PHONE INFO". Check the IMEI number...
6. Run "UPDATE FAID", "CLEAR SIMLOCKS", "CHANGE IMEI" and "RESET SW", the phone will be restarted.. Then click on "READ PHONE INFO", check the IMEI number.. is it still unstandard???
7. If the IMEI number is not standard, flash your 2100 using UFS Box with mcu 2100 v5.84, check full factory and set faid. After flash done, rebuild IMEI.
Phone will be OK. But if not fixed yet, replace the FLASH IC.
Good Luck,
