The ROMtool instructions I posted earlier were based on the Sprint (CDMA) firmware...
GSM/CDMA makes no difference when editing the ROM as long as you're not modifying the cellular components of the OS (which you obviously shouldn't be doing).

. As for removing Versamail, please refer to the PDFs I posted -- unless you have a 700p; then you won't be having any fun with this.
