E50-2 RM-171 can be unlocked with mt-box pro

Maybe this is usefull info for some mt-box pro owners: E50-2 RM-171 (without camera) can be unlocked with mt-box pro, even though according to the manual it is not supported. The trick is to convert it to the supported version of E50-1 RM-170. This is how to do it:

1: First, if needed, downgrade to v2.26.01 (=mcusw 6.27.01) with mt-box. Use RM-170 or RM-171 files on either fbus or normal/'dead' usb, it does not matter: mt-box (v1.33) does not change the phone type!
2: Use phoenix to flash to RM-170 v2.26.01, to do so you must:

2a: connect phone powered OFF to dku-2/ca-53 usb cable
2b: select open product and select rm-170
2c: go to firmware update
2d: select a product code
2e: use good old tnt/enforcer/gsm-magic program to enable dead usb option
2f: check dead usb and close enforcer program
2g: press start button. cancel on connection already opened error, then press start again.
2h: now when asked shortly press power on phone. if rom drivers are not installed yet, let in install and if timed out just repeat this step. phone will be flashed.

3: Now phone type is RM-170 and you can use mt-box to unlock the phone
4: Use phoenix again (same way) to convert the phone back to RM-171, use any same or newer version you like. (Leaving it at RM-170 will cause camera errors ofcourse).

Good luck!
