Hi,

for DCT-3 phones (except 3210) you don't need VPP.

Model 3210 has only 2.4 V battery, I suppose it doesn't generate the needed VPP (5 Volts ?) internally and needs VPP connected.

BTEMP is AFAIK only for automatic power up when flashing, you don't need to connect it when you power up the phone by hand when flashing. At least I have never connected BTEMP to one of my phones.

If you need to know where to connect those lines there are lots of pinout galleries on the net (i.e. on http://www.nokia-zone**** there is an image file containing pinouts for almost all present phones) ... or just ask google for "pinout +3310 +nokia" ... it should inform you well

You'll need:
  • Dejan flasher interface for parallel port and cable/connector for your phone.
  • A MBUS cable. There are several different types, I'd recommend a MBUS only cable/interface.
  • A flasher program for DCT-3 phones (i.e. Rolis).
  • A program to update FAID (i.e. Rolis Tool 1.9).
  • A flash file (of course ).
  • A computer ...

I think that should enable you to flash your phone.

Make a full backup of your phone first !!!
Be sure the backup is OK (view it with a hex-editor or similar to check if it doesn't contain only FFs etc.)
