I got a Nokia 8800 sirocco from some guy on eBay. It just turns off at will, with no apparent reason. The seller had great feedback but the phone doesn't look new, although it was advertised as such.,
What should i do? is this a common fault for it to turn off? should i just get a new phone from a dealer and return this one(obviously it cant be the 8800 can't afford it from a dealer) or should i get it repaired by a nokia care centre, and if so shouldnt it be free of charge for me as i typed in #*000# and it says it was made like sep of 2006. Only hesitation of getting it repaired is that with my original 8800 nokia took it back 3 times and evertime they sent it back to me there was something else wrong with it and also they damaged the phone(ie. scratches everywhere)
