Start xs++
Turn of the phone.
Press the button connect.
Hold "C" button on the phone and connect the DCU-60 cable.
if CID is lower then 52 xs++ will ask you if you want to upgrade CID press yes.
Backup GDFS
Press GDFS in configuration
Press the Backup GDFS button in Read GDFS
Unbrand
Start xs++
Turn of the phone.
Press the button connect.
Hold "C" button on the phone and connect the DCU-60 cable.
Tick flash main firmware and browse for your main.
Tick flash file system and browse for your fs.
Tick customize file system select phone model and region.
Press the flash button and wait.
If xs++ dont have your model or region you need to add it your self.
make a folder named own_custpack and put it in xs++ folder.
unpack your custom pack and put it in the own_custpack folder.
the order of the folders needs to be own_custpack/tpa/preset
Make the patch
Start patch generator.
Open firmware in the patch generator.
Press the button make patch.
You will find the generated patch in a folder called vkp in the same folder as the patch generator.
Apply patch
How to apply patch if the phone is unbranded
Start setool2 lite 1.11
Select phone modell.
Tick bypass DB2020 security box.
Press the add button and browse for the main file.
Add patch In MISC files.
Press flash and follow instruction in setool.
setool will ask you to
REMOVE CABLE FROM PHONE
REMOVE BATTERY FROM PHONE, THEN INSERT IT BACK
THEN PRESS "READY"
Do that.
after you done that setool will show
HOLD "C" BUTTON AND ATTACH PHONE
dont disconnect the phone setool will continue anyway.
in the end a new window will appear with the text press yes to remove patch no to apply press the NO button.
When setool have done the patching you will see some thing like this
VKP script executed OK
Elapsed:3415 secs.
Now you can remove the cable dont remove the cable before that.
after the work is done check if the phone accept all cards.
