let me share my simple trick in fixing this common problem of sony ericson phones...

phone history:
keys # 4,5,6,7,8,9 are not working
also its joystick left, right, up & down..

it is also have had benn repaired in other cellular clinic..

Action taken:
change keypad ic...no luck...
change joystick...no luck...
visuall examination...
ah finally i have found some ideas that may help me solve this problem...

joystick base are lifted..

and here's the picture of the phone when not yet repaired

and this is the trick i followed

and luckilly it worked..hre is the pic..
