How to check VPP (an easy way)

An easy way to check if Internal Box VPP is routed to service socket (DONT conect external DC Power supply), is conecting a LED between Pins 8 (GND) and 9 (VPP), and then start DCT4/WD2/BB5 Service tool, when Internal Box VPP Enabled, you must see the LED turns ON (just a second), if this happens your Internal Box VPP is ok ( I test mine with an Blue Led )

To check External VPP

Conect the power suply to the socket, and the LED with a resistor of 330 to 470 ohms in serie, between Pins 8 (GND) and 9 (VPP), and then start DCT4/WD2/BB5 Service tool, when the box reaches External Box VPP Enabled test you must see the LED turns ON (just a second), if this happens your External VPP is OK ( at least you know the external VPP is routed to the Service socket)

That all...
