just follow the trace of recycling instrument, homemade instrument, there are also many ways to find how to tune them quicky
one of my favorites is a
straw pipe or
straw flute 
there is a good tutorial how to do and to tune them
you only need a straw make two cuts and make some holes with a hot nail or something like that and then play it
also great to do with children but be warned they will not stop playing with it
