Apply flux before placing pcb on the x,y table, if possible apply flux and use hot air ****er to **** flux below the bga (dont use too much of heat), this method ensures wetting of the solder balls properly. after the reflow process, clean with DI water or IPA it depends which type of flux you use (you can use even good quality thinner, some people wont agree with me), my advice is use Interflux Belgium IF8300 BGA flux gel, it is very good.
