"Touch wood" haven't seen these "locked SD cards" yet. Saying that probably will see one today now. But something cant really figure out. If one brought one today, couldn't you just plug the memory card into a card reader, plug it into a computer and choose format it? If that doesn't work than I can see the use of this box cause yes it loses the data, and yes going by other ppl reply can use say N95 but not everyone have access to that (but most ppl even consumers have access to a computer hence my comment at the beginning) but if it allow to retrieve the usability of the card again, getting the use of say 32GB card that is lock will pay for the clip straight away!
