| you need to download a flash for your handset
install it
then go to
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
and delete the file
vendor.xml
then launch
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader loader.exe
with no battery attached to handset but data cable inserted
next continue with flash process and once it starts flashing re-insert battery
then all will be ok
