it depends on what phone you have under your hands, firstly you must make backup cert and pm with UFS and another tools to be sure you have the right backup of your
IMEI+
superdongle and
simlock but for the second condition (backup PM) your phone must enter in local mode.
if you erase a died phone with only backup cert without backuping PM (specially field
308 and
120 if exist) you will lost your simlock validity and also your superdongle but dont worry
you can repair superdongle for all phone models (PA_SL1+ PA_SL2 + PA_SL3) for simlock you can repair it only for
PA_SL1+ PA_SL2 but with other tools.
if you have an nokia (
PA SL1 + PA SL2 ) so you can with any problem erase ........flash, write eno file if exist write backup pm and cert.
if you have an Nokia
PA_SL3 i will not advice you to make erase operation even if you have full backup imei and PM.
