Just simple rule: Do not buy any multimedia/HDMI/game/entertainment models, buy the business line, as the quality of multimedia/entertainment models is usually junk and only has drivers for Win Vista/7

I vote for IBM (sadly it was aquired by Lenovo, but quality is still high), HP (but ONLY HP business series like NC63xx) and DELL of course, and yeah if you like it: Apple.
