domjuan1500 - most likely it's the power management IC 338S0768 gone short-circuit. You can do a resistance check from battery + pad to ground, and see what reading you get.

The chip is pricey and fairly hard to source, and can be difficult to change unless you have a bit of experience hot-air soldering.
