Clean the connector on the motherboard where the touchscreen connects to the board with some isopropyl alchol. When the same situation happened to me I used 99% isopropyl alchol and a toothbrush/cotton swab to clean the connectors. Also clean the connector for the touchscreen.

I connected the pcb and the touchscreen 5-10 minutes later and it worked.
