My Sister-in-Law (lives in UK) gifted me the e616V Mobile. She did not provide any Data-Cable with that. Now the problem is, whenever I (reside in India) insert any SIM, the display simply says "Please insert correct USIM Card". I don't know what USIM actually is. Some people says, it should be a 3G SIM. I used a 2G SIM (Service Provider : BSNL). Can anyone tell me the way to resolve the issue? Can I use 2G SIM instead of 3G? Or there need any Code to unlock the Phone? My city does not have any such person who knows what to do in this situation. Please guide me.
