| Ok I think my modem is not a standard e353 any more. I flashed the firmware linked successfully but the modem still doesn't work. The light flashes green but then doesn't switch to blue like it is supposed to.
I have an identical working model next to me. Am I able to read the firmware out of the good one and load it into the bad one to get it working? My guess is that my carrier ordered a special version of the device just for them.
The full model number of my modem is e353tu-6. And the firmware version of the working one seems to be newer than all of the other ones I've been able to find. |
