| When an engineer design a circuit with capacitors, they are there for a reason ;-) They minimize ripple when you have a change in voltage. If you have made a huge reduction in capacitance between a voltage line and ground, this could cause problems!
Therefore: resolder all (or at least the big ones) capacitors, and if nothing else is damaged on the board, you should be good to go! |
