If you have jailbroken or unlocked your device, stay away from this update until we gather more information as the new firmware likely upgrades the iPhone’s baseband.
To be on the safe side, there’s a new feature in the latest evasi0n jailbreak version 1.2 which disables over-the-air updates (those already jailbroken can update the ‘evasi0n 6.0-6.1 Untether’ package in Cydia).
It’s also a good practice to save your SHSH blobs for iOS 6.1 as Apple will stop signing the firmware shortly after 6.1.1 hits because you don’t wanna risk losing your jailbreak.
