First, I'd like to thank krish neupane and thevolatile1 for their help on
dead I9100 repair
I
replaced cracked U503 (ordered
MAX8627ETD+) which caused short circuit (14 Ohms across C565) - didn't need to replace anything else and phone got back to life, all is working except:
When phone is shut and charger connected a yellow triangle and battery with a diagonal line through it appears there's no charging and no green amount of charge is displayed (just a geryish battery).
Also, when phone is running and I connect a charger, a message pops with "Battery Disconnected" and not charging at all.

I need some help on how to proceed from here: I was thinking replacing U504 'Linear Battery Charger' (ordered
MAX8922LETB+) but not sure if it was affected by the water damage...
Maybe the circuit around U503 is still causing this?
Maybe micro USB connector issue?
Maybe it is a software issue?
What do you suggest?
