Nokia 6310i & DKU-5 or DKU-2 Cables

Hi to all.

I have a new 6310i phone (SW Ver. V 3.10, 26-03-04, RM-37)
and so I have tried surfing on the net all about this Nokia.

What I don't understand is about use of DKU-2 vs DKU-5. Nokia says with 6310i I have to use DKU-5, but other phone could use DKU-2, and DKU-2
it's very easy to make yourself because of direct connction Fbus with
D-, D+ differential USB signals. Really 6310i doesn't support DKU-2 but it needs DKU-5 (which includes a Atmel chip for USB <--> serial conversion) ?

What phone that can use DKU-2 differ respect 6310i ? I guess it's only a different Software which can manage directly USB connection and "convert"
it in standard Fbus mode. But I don't know very well...

In other words I think it's better and IrDA connection, isn't it ?

Thanks for any answers.

Bye,
Al.
