Just created an account because I'm going mad with my Lumia 920!
Here's the thing.
I just purchased a Lumia 920 AT&T Red Unlocked from the US. I live in Europe.
So, the device is a RM-820.
However, I need to change to a RM-821 so I change the display language to my native one because RM-820 doesnt have it.
The phone looks and works fantastic, but I need to do this.
The thing is I dont know how and I fear a bricked phone is a possible outcome.
I've successfully installed Nokia Care suite.
What I have to do next?
From different forums I have found out that it is dangerous to attempt to change a RM-820 to RM-821. Is this true?
If not, which I hope so, how will I do it?
Some say that I should flash a specific firmware of Rogers and then a random EURopean.
Is this valid info or not?
Finally, let's say all this is possible and everything goes well. Is there any chance that the device becomes re-locked upon flashing?
