Hi,

I know this is an advanced box thread, but I tried to search for my problem every corner of the internet but couldn't get what I wanted.

I am using the Nokia product support tool for store 5.0.

I have downloaded the country specific variants for my Lumia 820 AT&T branded.

I tried innumerable times to flash the damned thing, When I put it in flash mode and start the flashing, the phone kind of goes into a big Nokia logo screen with a dark background (no, it doesn't go into dark red background)... then I get this error


0xFA001304: Platform ID check fails. Reason(s): The FFU file is not meant for this product. The platform ID of image does not match with platform ID of the device.




Please some one help me with this, I don't know what's going on..... I got this phone as a gift and I am stuck with this stupid thing without the ability to update to amber nor am I able to use Nokia music, I took it to nokia service center and they flat out refused to flash it to Indian version and after that I have been to many other non nokia service persons and they can't even understand what I am talking about.
