I have no problem with 3G with just installing apn (no patch). Also,when i use the original sim,it shows signal bar with "Roaming 3G"

if the original no. is being showned ya it generally means that account is active
try sending msg without prefixing your country code
showing roaming means the line is still active on your phone means you can still make or receive a call on that original no.
