Member: 2561927 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | iPhone 7 Plus not detecting headphones I searched this forum and found another thread with the same issue I have but it was I believe a 7 not a plus. My headphones are not detected when plugged in. The mute switch shows as 'ringer' and not 'headphones' when adjusting volume etc. The rest of the phone as no issues with audio, touch ID etc etc. I have tried a new non genuine dock port and it made no difference. The headphones and jack adapter work fine in other 7's running the same iOS 12.3.1 Does anyone know Is this more than likely an Audio IC failure in its early stages or something else please? Anyone actually had this themselves and fixed it with a definitive cause? Thanks for any help. |
