Please check and if the erase is not execute properly, and if the Blank Check fails, try this:

Let the mac bootup while pressing alt, enter an code in that screen, and then press power till computer goes to sleep. When sleeping attach the SPI adapter, HDBOX and then try. If computer wakes up at any time, remove SPI adapter, put to sleep and retry. Our Engineer did a 1708 with this trick, putting it to sleep from firmware lock screen.

My computer doesn’t turn on at all now.Chip is blank I think.

The only way I get to connect the spi adapter now is just by connecting and immediately operation on software

Write file goes fine while checking gives error

If I try to repeat the operation it doesn’t connect anymore so I have to remove the adapter again.

When it check for erase the chip it doesn’t take time and goes to write it. This makes me think the chip is empty. I’ve tried to write the file I saved multiple times. I sent photo and file by email days ago

Ok,

But also try with the 1.9.4F, I'm curious if it will pass the blank check or not. I will check the emails and will go hunting for a donor file compatible with your mac also.

Check the PM

Hello,

The file we sent you tailored to your mac, it should retain your current SN, should have no firmware lock , or iCloud account/lock on it.

If the write still fails, read this thread and try like in this post from luistobcn

http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f101.../#post12945915 (Yes, i know, we always suggest the computer to be in sleep mode or even turned off... but hey...if it works it works )

If this helps you give him a thanks!

Best regards,
HDBOX Support Team.
