it may take long time depending how complex the lock code is , some users reported up to 52 hours .. so you decide to wait or not .

It's also worth mentioning that EFT allows to bruteforce PIN only up to 6 digits. Not all Huawei phones will show you how long the code is.


I'd like to kindly ask for expanding this option with:

• more optimized algo for pattern bruteforce. Currently it doesn't skip impossible patterns
• resume and logging option - so you could continue bruteforce later in case you need to connect another phone to EFT, logging - so you actually know which pattern/password was the one. At the moment phone will reboot and password/pattern will no longer be active.
• regexp support and/or more customization - like ability to check only 9 dots pattern instead of trying all of them, ability to bruteforce PIN where for example you know that first or second digit is know (ie 3???, ?5?? etc)
• support for alphanumeric passwords - with resume option obviously
• recovery option in case something goes wrong (messed up drivers, user error, random error) - like with enabling ADB where you can end-up with semi-broken phone with limited systemui, no lockscreen and no ability to redo the process with patch1 fail error because there's nothing to patch anymore
