About Universalbox activations - GSM-Forum

The universalbox business politics is not correct. When universalbox is released a new pacth method for dtc4 phones with 3168 upp i paid for it 200 credit. But before activated i couldn't unlock the phones with 3162 upp, but this WAS FREE. After released the new method, for old method also need pay?

Now same story. Need pay for RSA unlock is OK, i'm not crying for it, this is normal. I paid activation on my MXKEY, because MX-team was faster, and i was need it. But now i can't use on universalbox old method wich is payed.

No need for me this now, but i think many universalbox users no needed new solution (dosen't have 1661, 1662, 5030, 1202 in his country), but paid for patch method, and now can't use it.

So i think need make a warning window for old customers with reasons new update. But if old patch method disabled on server side also, and can't use it with old exe also, the correct step is make patch method for offline. I think is not only incorrect, this is cheating, because many people can't use, but paid for it!

For exapmle: setool released full se unlocks by reset method, but if you don't want pay for it u can use old java patch method. If you paid for update you can use old java and new reset method also.
