Conserning possible fake sale. Help please! - GSM-Forum

Hello

I have recently via a friend payed for a W810i, 100 quid, which seemed like a good deal. The only thing a know about him, is that he has a user in here, and that the e-mail's he use are these:

[email protected]
[email protected] (PayPal mail)

I sent him the payment via payPal, so I can propably get a little information via his account. But the fact is, I haven't gotten any cell phone yet, and he hasn't been online on MSN ever since he registered my payment. Furthermore, I have sent numerous mail's to his e-mail's, but still nothing

The name is Christie Kirkby, and lives in England. Does anybody know this person? Anything that can help, would be appreciated!

- U dont have to say that I was a sucker for paying in advance, I have already kicked myself in the nuts for that one...

Get his contact details from paypal and ring him. If that doesn't work file an item not received claim via Paypal.

Hmm, I have just discovered that the payment on my PayPal account is Pending, but the money has been withdrawn from my Bank Account... Doesn't make any sense :S

im buying a blocked w810 off him with all the accessories for £75 ive got a mobile number and his bank acc details to pay into his bank acc.

well it looks like ive been ripped off by this guy aswell.i paid him on sunday for the w810i and it hasnt turned up.luckily i paid through paypal.

If you paid through paypal, go to dispute resolution, open one up and file a claim, you should get your money back if you do it fast enough. Also make sure you escalate the claim and you can also give paypal a ring on this number: 08707 307 191

i opened a dispute with paypal and i got an email off c kirby yesterday saying his pc has had a virus and he only got my address off his pc yesterday.he reckons he will post me the phone today,we will see.

just thought I would give an update to this thread. Unfortunately it is not very much different from mike's. I stille haven't recieved any phone from this guy, and he will not answer my mails, although I have written to three of them!

definitely 3 thumbs down for this guy!
