Fraud Warning- Wendy Antonio Carrasco

I am ashamed to say this, but I have been defrauded by Wendy Antonio Carrasco Feliz (Antonio Carrasco for short) for a few thousand dollars. He is a member of this board going under the username "cdma-unlocker". His email address is [email protected]. He is also active on Howard Forums under the same user name "cdma-unlocker"

In the past two years, I have used his expertise many times to modify firmwares, and in this last "transaction" on December 28, 2010 in which I wired him the money, he supposedly had a prepared a number of modified firmwares that he would upload to an FTP server when he received our confirmation.

As of today, January 10th 2011, he has still not uploaded the files. In the 25 or so emails I wrote to him asking him for the software, he finally wrote back on January 4th to apologize:

Really sorry , I am returning of another city with my family and didn't have communication, I return late yesterday, I forgot restore the server with this new files, all the files is locate in server , please wait to server update complele.

On January 5th he wrote me again in response to some more emails from me that he

only out pc now in medical enter checking me still with virus, ill update the server again immediate you can download the files today please don't worry.

In addition to all the emails I've been sending him, I have been calling him and sending him messages via SMS and Kik Messenger. All the messages via Kik are typically marked as "Sent" and "Delivered" within moments, and usually all marked "Read" by the end of the day, but he plays sly claiming that Kik has problems with Blackberry and that it takes hours to get his messages (and as though that would make a difference in this case since he can apparently read emails fine.)

I should have realized something was up, because months ago, I had a similar incident with him where he claimed a firmware file was ready, but didn't release it till 1-2 weeks afterwards. When I finally got in touch with him, he claimed that his baby died and he was very sorry for the delay. In reflection, I should have realized back then that I was dealing with a pathological liar.

If anyone has any advise of how to deal with this, please let me know. I have his phone numbers, and his home/work addresses.
