3210 don't detect sim card


When I put a sim card (of any operator) in my 3210... nothing happens!!! the text "insert sim card" stay on the display

I have tryed to flash but I can't (phone problem?, cable problem?, computer problem?)

I have opened and check all contacts... all seems to be fine

anibody could help me?

i think it is a hardware problem

it looks like a hardware problem but... why the power ic? the phone powers on correctly... can I do any test with voltage tester before desolder an IC ?

Hiya

Kharr is right...power ic, CCONT because it supplies voltage for simcard ( VSIM line ).... First u can try to resolder it ( don't just reflow, no use ) then if fault remains change it...Check also whole VSIM line.....
