3210 contact service

hi all<br />i have a 3210 with contact service coming on straight away, is there anything to remove it and get it working again<br />thnx in advance

what's the reason why your phone gets "contact service" pls. give me the reason so that we can trace and solve the problem..

hi sorry it took so long!!<br />the phone was blank,i flashed with dark flasher<br />back up files 00898890 5.36. now phone powers up but straight away goes to c/s<br />any thoughts<br />thanx for the reply

hello,

okey, try to redownload the full backup of ur flash using ur flasher, den try to check the full back with the software nfree by viper, with that software, u will know which part of ur flash goes wrong, i think the problem is in ur ppm or mcu portion, it maybe corrupted. so try to check first.if so try to secure fullback of the same ver of ur phone, den try to flash it wid that file. i hope the problem was solved.

let me help you guys!try to read first the unit using noktool and check if it is all 4 closed!if yes then the eeprom of the phone is corrupt.to fix this,use eeprom programmer by guar or any other eeprom repairer then repair it.

Hello.<br />I also have a 3210 displaying "Contact Service"<br />I urgently need the flash for this phone version <br />5.36.<br />But i need the 4 megs flash.<br />I mean , from 00200000 to 00600000.<br />If anyone can send it to me in zip.<br />but send it in 1 meg (max) each packet.<br />Total 4 packets.<br />Thanks to everyone.

I have a V5.31 with contact service I know it is done by unlocking. I reflash it now 4 locks are open but still says contact service. What should I do now? What software and when can I get it? Many thanks.

Why do you need 4MB of flash for 5.36??? Nokia<br />only released 2MB of flash for 3210s... 4MB is<br />only for new phones like 6210 etc... And what PPM<br />version do you need for 5.36? You need to know <br />this too or else your phone will not get signal.

To Titanicuk,

Use Wintesla and see at Self-Test option what is<br />'Failed' in the test and tell me what it is. My <br />best guess is COBBA Parallel or Serial is bad,<br />so you need to heat COBBA IC with flux and hot air<br />gun. But this is only a guess <img src="smile.gif" border="0">
