3210 question - GSM-Forum

I have a 3210e v5.36. I succesfully unlocked the phone with the eeprom pin 5 trick, and checked it was ok before reassembling it, but when I did reassemble it, i get the "contact service" message.

My question is, would that also stop the battery from charging? Cos when I got up this morning, the phone appears dead apart from when I connect the charger I get a little beep and a bettery logo briefly.

And to repair the eeprom, the phone doesn't need it's own power, does it? hope not.

Using the Dejan flasher (http://www.xtwt.f2s.com/unlock/flash.html) the phone needs to be powered on. Using Ponyprog (http://www.lancos.com/prog.html)it doesn't.
