hi i wonder if anyone can help i have a nokia 3210 v4.65 and cant seem to get software to unlock it i have nokia v3.11 (EL version) which is by jethro and works fine on other nokia phones but not v4.65 i also have nokia flash manager, jethro 5.51,nokia tool 034 but none seem to work. my jethro 3.11 sees the phone but the others dont my cables i use are connected via my parrallel port could it be these programmes will only work via the serial? any help will be appreciated and i will be posting my software available for free when i finish my web site as i know that i disslike paying for it or being led on a wild goose chase before being able to download it.

hi,

To unlock old versions like 4.65 you must use nokia tool. It works with mbus cable, connected to COM port, you won't be able to unlock it using dejan flasher LPT cable...

do you know if i can make an adapter for the cable i already have as i already have a cable with a nice conector to plug into the phone and if i could make an adapter this would be excellent.

Hi Fabs

The Dejan Interface use rx, tx, mbus and gnd pins to work. I don´t know what is the type of conection of your phone´s conectors to the Dejan interface, but they must have this four lines. To use a conventional MBUS cable with your conectors you only must do a mbus interface and connect MBUS and GND of your conectors with the MBUS and GND of the interface. thanks ReZn0r i dont suppose you have a diagrame for the connections between the com port and the phone. my LPT cable comes apart in two pieces so if i had the connections for the com port end i could hack an old cable to make an adapter. any help would be appreciated I dont know if you have seen this but here is the addrress of my web site i just put together basic but maybe you can find some usefull stuff on it i have more but no time to upload it yet http://fab.topcities.com
