i tried to unlock a 3210 ver 6 using darkflasher but its dead is there a way to bring to life

Hi!

Plz specify the adress where you wrote to.. If it was the correct adress, check partial and try to unlock again...

If it was wrong adress, and you made a backup, then write backup...

If you don't have backup, then find one on the net... try schwantz site... <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

...or Flash it with Full Flash from a Good Backup from Another Phone with same MCU+PPM. (Start Address 0020000 - 0040000)

and calculate FAID if necessary...

I have a 3210 V6 that is dead too. When i got the phone it was saying contact service,I tried to re flash it but to no avail. I have today managed to get another V6 so i made a full backup from 00200000 to 00400000 OK. Then i tried to flash it to the dead phone. All seems OK to start with but the erasing flash is Succesful then dark lemming starts to write to flash, It write 5% or from 00200000 to 0021C000 then bombs out with writing to flash error.

if i start the flash at 00218000 it will run past 0021C000 but again only till 5%.

I have had this problem before on a Downloaded full flash but assumed it was that full flash was damaged. But this new one is what i just created off of another phone.

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi Chryse <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> , I have tried every boot loader and flash loader. It appears that i can use any boot loader and normal or intel16 flash loaders but all combinations i try give same results.

the PC is a P3400 128Mb running Win98.

I am just about to give up on the phone.

Do you have Dejan Box 105... Try it...its better

but if u don't have, try all minor troubleshooting... like connectors check if its connecting properly or check battery... it should be fully charge to avoid bombing out during flashing...etc.

The big problem with flashing 3210s is that most connectors do not fit well. I have tried several but none really fits well. This is the main culprit in events like incomplete backup and writing. I guess nokia designed the fone to be used with a "caddy" for servicing. One thing you could do is to use flashers like Rolis or Ucables if you have them, and try not to move the fone while reading/writing. Perhaps holding the connector still will prevent another mishap. <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

some 3210 with atmel flash IC require different f_loader for reading and writing. dark shell only comes with the patched loader for reading so when you try to write it does it for a bit then stops or erases then stops. if you cant find a good set of loaders, use rolis 4.77 to write the full flash files you have, this will set itself up automatically <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

No i dont have a dejan box. i can read from another phone the whole flash and can use other 3210s on mbus cable sections with noktool 035 and logo manager with no problems at all, so i dont think its a connector problem

I will look into the last suggestion a bit more but the only place i have found to DL rollis 477 the zip file fails the CRC check. If you know where i can get it from please tell me or else i will keep looking <img src="smile.gif" border="0">
